Traveling by plane has serious consequences when it comes to CO2 emissions. In order to reduce your environmental impact we strongly encourage you to take the train if possible.
And we will reward you for your help! For participants coming to the conference by train, we offer the possibility of reimbursement of your train ticket.
Conditions for reimbursement:
- up to a maximum of the conference costs (i.e. max. 500 Eur)
- use the ISTA reimbursement form
- original receipts (invoice as well as train tickets) will have to be provided
- only 2nd class (economy, standard) tickets
- If you take the nighttrain only standard sleeping compartments (couchettes, with 6 or 4 bunk beds) can be refunded
- No reimbursements for hotel costs
How to hand in your travel reimbursement:
- Fill in the ISTA reimbursement form. You can download it either as a PDF or EXCEL document here.
- Print out the form and sign it
- Send the form and all invoices, receipts and tickets in original with postal mail to the following address:
